Britannia Reserve Irish Coffee

An Irish Coffee is the perfect, decadent way to finish a meal and we have put our own spin on it. We have used our Britannia Reserve Caramel Moonshine for this recipe, but any of our 5 flavours will work beautifully.

Method

1. Pour the Britannia Reserve Moonshine into a heatproof irish coffee glass and pour in the hot black coffee, leaving approx 1.5cm at the top for the cream.

2. In a small bowl or jug, lightly whisk the double cream. This is to add some air to the cream to help it float on top of the coffee without the need to add sugar (unless you want sugar of course). We recommend using a Piranha Whizzy Whisk for whipping the cream.

3. Carefully spoon the cream on to the top of the coffee so that it floats. A soup spoon is good for this due to it’s rounded shape.
